A catalogue image can show a style, but it rarely settles installation fit or commercial terms. Use these questions when requesting shower systems or basin faucets from a new supply source.
1. Identify the configuration
Share a reference image or model and say which components are included. For a shower system, separate the mixer, head, hand shower, hose and accessories. For a basin faucet, identify the intended basin and mounting position.
2. Define fit and finish
Request a drawing for the exact model or variant. Compare dimensions, installation and water connections, finish names, visible components and any features that cannot change. A different height or finish may need its own confirmation.
3. State the buying conditions
Give the approximate quantity, destination, packaging expectations, sample needs and any branding or customization request. Ask which minimum quantity, timing and costs apply to the proposed configuration.
4. Check market-specific evidence
Tell the supplier where the product will be sold or installed. Identify the testing, registration, labeling or documentation your buyer requires, then check whether evidence covers the exact model and responsible party. Do not treat a report for another variant as automatic proof.
This is a checklist for preparing a conversation, not a claim that a particular product, certification or delivery term is available. Final specifications and responsibilities are agreed for each project.
